Set up a private birthday party, baby shower, or holiday event with us! Minimum group is 15 people.
Private events are held at our Ybor location. Classes are BYOB, feel free to bring your own beverages to enjoy during the class. Participation fees include supplies & materials to take the class. Each candle chemist will also leave with their own signature glass candle.

Candle Making Classes

Pricing & Event Info for Private Events

Events are reserved in 2- to 3-hour blocks. Our doors will open 30 minutes prior to your event so that you can arrange food, wine, and any decorations you may have.

Typically, the first hour of the event is for mingling and the second half is for candle making. Each person gets to leave with a signature glass candle of their choosing.

Weekday candle making classes are $40 per person/ $60 per person (Catered Food)
Weekend candle making classes are $45 per person/ $65 per person (Catered Food)

Payment & Deposit Minimums

All Private Parties/Classes require a minimum of 15 paid guests. Weekend Parties requires a minimum of 20 paid guests. If you fall short of the minimum number of guests required, we will still run your party, but please understand that you are responsible for the difference in payment, which will be withheld from your deposit.

If you have less than 10 party guests, we are happy to accommodate your group with reserved tables pushed together during one of our open candle class events.

A $150.00 or 50% deposit which ever is greater is due at time you book your date, the balance is due on day of your party. Your deposit will be applied to pay for party guests. If you fall short of the minimum guest requirement, it will be withheld from your deposit. Should you cancel within 2 weeks of the event, you will forfeit the deposit and incur a Cancellation Fee.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND that if you cancel / postpone / reschedule your private party with less than 14 days notice, we CAN NOT refund your deposit, unless we find another party to take your time slot. If we are able to book another party during your canceled time slot, we will gladly refund your full deposit.

Our candle shop is BYO, however, only adults 21 or older may consume alcohol. Seventh Avenue Apothecary is not responsible for any alcohol related incidents, accidents or injuries.  We reserve the right to take your keys and call you a cab if our staff believes you are too intoxicated to drive after your party, HOWEVER this is not our responsibility. All party attendees must drink responsibly, and be held accountable for their own actions.
